Airsoft is a military simulation game in which players equip themselves with the same uniforms and gear – shooting plastic BBs – that are currently used by military personnel and security contractors worldwide. The Green Mountain Rangers are an Airsoft team composed of civilians and military personnel from the Northeastern United States. These images were taken while accompanying the Green Mountain Rangers during team practice sessions on Long Island and in Western Massachusetts; at urban combat training centers located at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Fort Drum, NY; and during a four-day event on the island of Hemsön off the coast of Sweden with over 1,200 participants from around the world.
